Repairs and modernization of passenger rail vehicles

The company KOS offers different types the passenger rail vehicles repairs.  These are mainly standard repairs, repairs after violent damage, periodic and general repairs. We offer also modernization of passenger rail vehicles, when the interior layout of the vehicle is modified according to the customer’s requirements. The modernization mainly consists the changes in the interior of the vehicle (lighting, seat upholstery, insulation of the compartment, etc.), or the installation of various components and systems (modifications for transportation of bicycles, reconstruction of water management, etc.). Our company also repairs and restores historic cars.

Modernization of passenger rail vehicles

České dráhy – modernization of the four-axle rail vehicle type Bdtee276, which was modernized by rebuilding the Btme rail vehicle manufactured by company Vagonka Studenka in 1986-1987. The modernized vehicle has two large compartments with a total of 80 seats.

České dráhy – modernization of a four-axle second-class rail vehicle type Btn 054, which has one large passenger compartment with an aisle in the middle and two boarding compartments. The boarding compartment on the toilet side is equipped with two toilet cells with washbasin, handbrake and main electrical switchboard. The second enlarged boarding area provides space for transportation of bicycles. Totally 40 vehicles were upgraded for the customer.

Regiojet – modification of the vacuum toilet system on B20-73 rail vehicle, including installation of bicycle holders.
